Information
Getting Rally Cap is less about playing a full game and more about creating one clean scoring window. The 70-point target asks you to begin an inning behind, then collect seven hits before that inning ends. If you want to keep your Diamond Dynasty plans moving too, MLB 26 stubs can be useful alongside your offline progress. The key is to set the score first, then take control of the team that needs the comeback.
Set up the matchup
Start in Classic exhibition and open Settings before choosing clubs. Put both Hitting Difficulty and Pitching Difficulty on Beginner. That gives hitters a much friendlier look at pitches, while pitching becomes simple when you need a quick out. Pick any teams you like, although power-heavy legends or custom rosters make the job feel quicker. Assign your controller to the away side at first. A created park with a shallow outfield is also worth using, since line drives and deep flies have less room to turn into outs.
Create the one-run deficit
In the top of the first, score one run and stop there. A solo homer is the cleanest option. Then let two away-team outs happen on purpose. With a 1-0 score and two outs, pause before the third out. Go to Team Select and move your controller to the home club. Now finish the top half while controlling the fielding side. When the bottom of the first starts, your new batting team is down by a run. That is the exact game state Rally Cap needs.
Quick reference
Stage | Controller side | Score situation | Job.
1 | Away team | Start tied | Score once, then reach two outs.
2 | Home team on defense | Away team leads 1-0 | Record the final out.
3 | Home team at bat | Home team trails 0-1 | Put together seven hits.
Keep the inning alive
At Beginner, wait for pitches near the middle and focus on solid contact rather than trying to hit seven homers. You'll often spot a ball that looks like an easy out, especially a high fly or a slow grounder. Pause while the play is still live, switch to the fielding club, and move the fielder away from the landing point. For a ground ball, an off-line throw can keep the runner safe. Switch back before the play is over. Repeat only when needed; regular singles count just as well.
Watch the hit count
Track every safe ball carefully, because the same inning can also cover the three-hit and five-hit milestones. Once hit number seven lands, Rally Cap should register right away. It's a handy session for players who want several objectives from one controlled inning, and MLB The Show 26 stubs for sale may help support the wider roster-building side of the game while you work through them.
